Product Description of S61 Series Rotary Drum Heating Furnace
The S61 Series Rotary Drum Heating Furnace is a high-efficiency industrial heating system designed for continuous heating, drying, calcining, and preheating processes. It is widely used in core drying in foundries, refractory calcination, catalyst regeneration, chemical raw material drying, and pre-treatment of lithium battery cathode/anode materials. Featuring a horizontal rotating drum + external heating + intelligent temperature control, the furnace rotates slowly to tumble materials evenly, combined with hot air circulation or electric/gas heating, achieving efficient heat transfer, uniform heating, and dead-zone-free drying—ensuring process consistency and product quality stability.

The furnace features a modular design with optional heating methods: electric, natural gas, LPG, or biomass fuel. Temperature range: ambient to 1200°C, capacity: 500 kg/h to 10 tons/h. Customizable based on material properties, production capacity, and process curves to meet diverse industrial needs.
Working Principle
The S61 Series achieves continuous, uniform heating through mechanical rotation + convective/radiative heat transfer:
Feeding & Distribution
Materials are continuously fed into the front end of the drum via screw feeder, belt conveyor, or bucket elevator, ensuring uniform and stable feeding.

Rotating Heating
The drum is driven by a frequency-controlled motor + gearbox at 2–6 rpm, slowly rotating. Materials tumble and fall inside, increasing contact area with hot air and enhancing heat transfer.

Hot Air Circulation Heating
Electric Type: Electric heating elements heat air, which is forced through the drum by a high-temperature fan. Hot air enters from the rear, counter-current to material flow, ensuring full heat exchange before exhaust.

Gas Type: High-temperature flue gas from a burner heats clean air via a tubular heat exchanger, then enters the drum—avoiding direct contact and contamination.

Discharge & Cooling (Optional)
Heated material discharges from the rear. Optional cooling drum or air-cooling system allows hot or ambient-temperature discharge for downstream packaging or processing.

Exhaust Gas Treatment
Exhaust gas is treated via cyclone + bag filter + optional activated carbon adsorption before emission—compliant with environmental standards (GB 16297-1996).
