Product Description of L12 Series Fixed Vibratory Shakeout Machine
The L12 Series Fixed Vibratory Shakeout Machine is a high-efficiency mold-breaking and sand-separation system designed for small-to-medium foundries, suitable for green sand, furan resin sand, alkaline phenolic sand, and other molding processes. Utilizing a dual-shaft inertial exciter + frame-type elastic support structure, the L12 delivers controlled directional vibration to rapidly break down cooled molds and efficiently separate castings from sand—ensuring smooth casting discharge and continuous sand flow, significantly improving cleaning efficiency.
Constructed with a fully welded Q345B high-strength steel frame, the machine offers excellent rigidity, fatigue resistance, and long service life. Equipped with replaceable wear-resistant screen plates (perforated or woven mesh), it effectively separates large sand clumps from fines while protecting castings. The L12 integrates seamlessly with apron conveyors, bucket elevators, magnetic separators, and cooling beds—forming a complete reclaimed sand recovery and casting handling system, widely used in automated shakeout operations for engine blocks, transmission housings, pumps, and valves.
Working Principle
Mold Feeding
Molds with castings are fed into the inlet zone via manual cart, robot arm, or roller conveyor, smoothly transitioning onto the vibrating screen surface, ready for shakeout.
Vibration-Induced Breakup & Sand Removal
Upon startup, dual-shaft inertial exciters generate directional force, causing the screen box to vibrate at 45–55 Hz in an approximate linear motion. The mold breaks apart quickly; sand falls through the screen openings into a collection hopper or belt conveyor, while castings move forward along the screen.
Casting & Residual Sand Separation
The inclined screen (5°–8° slope) uses gravity and vibration to move castings toward the discharge end while shaking off residual sand. Large unbroken sand clumps are carried as oversize material to a crusher or manual cleanup station.
