Pulse Jet Baghouse Dust Collector
The Pulse Jet Baghouse Dust Collector is a high-efficiency dry filtration system engineered to capture fine, high-concentration dust generated in foundry processes—such as shakeout, sand mixing, reclamation, electric furnace melting, and material conveying. Utilizing high-pressure pulse-jet cleaning technology and ePTFE membrane filter bags, it achieves 99.99% filtration efficiency for particles ≥0.3μm, with emissions consistently below 10 mg/m³ It is the cornerstone of ultra-low-emission solutions in modern green foundries.
Working Principle
Dusty Air Inlet: Gas enters the housing; coarse particles settle into the hopper by gravity.
Bag Filtration: Fine dust is captured on the surface of ePTFE membrane bags; clean air passes through to the clean plenum.
Pulse Cleaning: PLC triggers solenoid valves based on timer or differential pressure. A 0.5–0.7 MPa compressed air pulse creates a high-velocity reverse jet via Venturi nozzles, causing bags to snap outward and dislodge dust cake—without interrupting operation.
Dust Discharge: Collected dust falls into the hopper and is removed via rotary valve or screw conveyor.
