XD Low-Resistance Cyclone Dust Collector
The XD Low-Resistance Cyclone Dust Collector is a high-efficiency dry pre-dust collector specially designed for high-concentration, coarse-particle dust applications—widely used in foundry shakeout, sand handling, crushing, conveying, and drying processes. Its unique streamlined volute casing and optimized inlet/outlet airflow design achieve ≥85% dust collection efficiency while reducing pressure drop to ≤600 Pa (only 60–70% of conventional cyclones), significantly lowering fan energy consumption—making it an ideal solution for both energy savings and emission compliance.
Suitable for dust with particle size ≥10 μm (e.g., molding sand, mineral powder, wood chips, grain dust), the XD series can be used standalone as primary dust collection or combined with baghouse/filtration units as a two-stage system—extending filter life and reducing total operating costs.
Working Principle
Tangential Inlet: Dust-laden gas enters the cyclone body tangentially from the top or side, creating a high-speed rotating vortex.
Centrifugal Separation: Under centrifugal force, coarse/heavy particles are thrown against the wall and spiral downward into the hopper. Cleaned gas forms an inner vortex and exits through the low-resistance exhaust core tube at the top.
