Y36 Leaf Spring Conveyor
The Leaf Spring Conveyor is a vibratory conveying system that utilizes high-strength elastic steel leaf springs as both load-bearing and drive components. Specially engineered for harsh industrial environments—such as high temperature, heavy load, and dusty conditions—it is widely used in foundries for post-shakeout casting transfer, in heat treatment lines for hot part handling, and in forging shops for billet transport. Capable of continuous operation at temperatures up to 600°C, it requires no lubrication, features no vulnerable bearings, and offers simple structure, smooth conveying, minimal maintenance, and exceptional service life.
Working Principle
Driven by an electromagnetic vibrator or eccentric motor exciter mounted beneath the trough, the leaf spring assembly undergoes controlled elastic deformation, causing the conveyor trough to oscillate with small amplitude in a specific direction. Material advances along the trough via inertial "micro-hopping" motion—ensuring continuous, smooth, and low-impact transport.
Because the leaf springs simultaneously provide support, energy storage, and vibration damping, the unit eliminates the need for rollers, chains, or bearings—solving common issues like jamming, wear, and lubrication failure faced by conventional conveyors in hot, dusty environments.
