Product Description of S33 Series Sand Lump Crusher
The S33 Series Sand Lump Crusher is a high-efficiency dry crushing machine designed for foundry sand reclamation systems, suitable for breaking up compacted molding sand from green sand, furan resin sand, and alkaline phenolic sand processes. Utilizing a dual-rotor shear crushing + adjustable discharge grate system, the S33 rapidly reduces sand lumps up to 300 mm in diameter to ≤3 mm through combined shear, impact, and compression forces—significantly improving efficiency and stability in downstream screening, magnetic separation, and sand regeneration.
Constructed with a Q345B high-strength steel welded frame, stress-relieved by full annealing, the machine offers excellent rigidity and impact resistance. The crushing chamber is lined with NM500 high-hardness wear-resistant steel, and hammers are made of the same material—ensuring long life and low maintenance costs. The S33 integrates seamlessly with vibratory shakeouts, bucket elevators, cooling beds, and linear screens—widely used in resin sand reclamation lines, pre-treatment before sand storage, temperature regulation systems, and automated sand handling lines, serving as a critical pre-processing unit for efficient sand reuse.

Dual-Rotor Shear Crushing
The machine features two counter-rotating rotors, each equipped with multiple rows of high-wear-resistant hammers. Sand lumps are subjected to intense shear, impact, and compression between the high-speed hammers (peripheral speed 28–32 m/s) and fixed breaker plates—rapidly reducing them to fine particles.

Particle Size Control & Discharge
Crushed material exits through an adjustable discharge grate (5–15 mm gap), ensuring uniform and controlled particle size (typically ≤3 mm). Oversized particles are re-crushed until they meet the specification.
