The Shot Blasting Machine is a highly efficient surface treatment system that uses high-speed rotating blast wheels (impellers) to propel steel or cast steel shot at workpieces, removing scale, sand, rust, coatings, and burrs. With an integrated design of mechanical blasting, shot recycling, and multi-stage dust collection, it provides fast, thorough, and uniform cleaning for castings, forgings, welded structures, steel plates, and profiles. It significantly improves surface quality, enhances paint adhesion, and can improve material fatigue strength-widely used in automotive, construction machinery, shipbuilding, wind power, rail transit, pipelines, and valves industries.
Available in pass-through, hook-type, turntable, tumble belt, and overhead chain types, this series can be customized based on workpiece size, weight, material, production cycle, and cleaning requirements-suitable for both small-batch and high-volume automated production.
Working Principle
The machine operates through a closed-loop process of blasting, recovery, separation, and reuse:
Loading & Conveying
Workpieces enter the blast chamber via rollers, hooks, tumbling belt, or turntable, positioned, and the cleaning cycle begins.

High-Speed Shot Blasting
The blast wheel, driven by direct motor or belt drive, spins at high speed (2,200-2,800 rpm). Shot is accelerated and ejected through a directional cage, impacting the workpiece surface to remove contaminants.
Shot Recovery & Recycling
Spent shot and debris fall into a screw conveyor + bucket elevator, transported to the shot-sand separator. Dust and broken shot are removed via air wash + screening, and clean shot is automatically returned to the blast wheel.

Dust Collection
Negative pressure in the blast chamber draws dust through cyclone + cartridge filter dual-stage purification. Emission ≤10mg/m³-compliant with national environmental standards (GB 39731-2020).

Unloading & Inspection
After cleaning, workpieces are automatically discharged. Optional vision inspection system or manual QC ensures surface cleanliness reaches Sa2.5 or higher.
